(Belgische Vereniging voor de Behandeling van Brandwonden) Artsen en verpleegkundigen.
De vereniging heeft tot doel:
1° de kontacten te verbeteren tussen de personen die brandwonden behandelen en verzorgen.
2° de verworven kennis en het wetenschappelijk onderzoekswerk op het gebied van de verzorging van brandwonden te verspreiden en aan te moedigen.
3° gegevens uitwisselen, het onderwijs en de preventie te bevorderen.
4° raadgevingen te leveren en voorstellen te formuleren op het gebied van de behandeling van brandwonden, en dit aan elke geïnteresseerde persoon en elke betrokken instantie.
5° het samengaan met de andere Belgische of buitenlandse verenigingen die hetzelfde doel nastreven.
6° een nationaal rampenplan te bepalen en actueel te houden in verband met de behandeling van brandwondenpatiënten.

The European Burns Association was founded in 1981 by leading burn specialists in Europe. To encourage co-operation in the field of burn care throughout the continent.
The EBA serves as a forum through which medical specialists, researchers, professions allied to medicine (PAM) and other workers come in contact to discuss aspects of burn treatment and research. In this way, expertise and knowledge are spread throughout the countries of Europe.
